NanOptima is seeking a PhD Graduate or Graduate with equivalent research leadership experience in Pharmaceutical or Material Sciences, Chemistry or a related discipline. The role will appeal to someone proficient in the design and characterisation of hydrogel materials, ideally for drug delivery applications, with skills in various in vitro analytical and characterisation techniques.

 

As part of our multi-disciplinary R&D team, you will have a leading role in the day to day operational and technical delivery of our research programme. You will be lab based and will design, characterise, test and develop hydrogel drug delivery depots for the temporal delivery of ophthalmic therapeutics to meet NanOptima’s objective of improving the treatment of retinal diseases.

Supported by our wider Team, you will also contribute to the development of innovative products and their translation to help aid the growth of our commercial activities. In return, we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your research, technical and leadership skills and gain invaluable experience to develop your scientific and commercial expertise.
