Formulation Scientist Permanent South Wales Attractive salary dependant upon experience Study, formulation and development of novel long-acting, injectable biopharmaceuticals, the role will need to be creative and able to work well with other functions. Peptide Chemist

I am recruiting for an organic chemist to join a small but expanding company in the East Midlands (Leicestershire) area. You will be responsible for synthesizing peptides (both catalogue and custom) using automated peptide synthesizers and manual procedures, cleave peptides from resin supports, purification and analysis using HPLC and mass spectrometry (LC-MS, MALDI) and carrying out post synthesis modifications. A successful biotechnology company based in South Oxfordshire is currently recruiting for an R&D Scientist to join their busy Technical Team. This is a permanent role, starting as soon as possible, paying £22-25,000.

The Role:

- Operating specialist manufacturing and metrology equipment to support R&D projects
- Assisting in laboratory team projects - process improvements, quality investigations
- Maintaining technical documentation - quality records, production batch details, etc.

The Person:

- EITHER Scientific degree OR previous relevant experience
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to work to SOPs
- Happy in a hands on laboratory based role
